Surya Pratap Shahi
Surya Pratap Shahi is a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Uttar Pradesh. He was a member of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Kasia assembly segment in Deoria (later Kushinagar) district for three terms, with representation during 1985-1989; 1991-1993; 1996-2002. Shahi served as cabinet minister in the Government of Uttar pradesh for two terms. He was president of the Uttar Pradesh state unit. Shahi completed his 12th in 1969 from S.S.B.L. Inter College, Deoria, Graduation in 1971 from B.R.D.P.G. College, Deoria, & LLB in 1974 from B.H.U.. Shahi was married in 1973.
