Supetastic 6 is the fifth episode of the third season on the part documentary and part rock-mockumentary musical comedy series The Naked Brothers Band, which was created by Polly Draper. Supetastic 6 is an animated special.
The band's superhero alter egos (Nat, Captain Music; Alex, BASSFF; Thomas, Pizza Man; David, Wonder David; Qaasim, Multi Tool; Cooper, Business Man; Rosalina, Miss Conduct) must stop a jazz-playing criminal genius (Matt Pinfield) from stealing the world's hair supply.
Plot
The Naked Brothers Band is performing the song “Little Old Nita” during a concert in Bryant Park, New York City, when Matt Pinfield, a jazz-playing criminal genius, interrupts the performance and threatens the audience with his horrible music and a baldness-causing laser beam.
After the transformation in their superhero alter egos, the Supestatic 6 - Nat (Captain Music), Alex (BASSFF), Thomas (Pizza Man), David (Wonder David), Qaasim (Multi Tool) and Cooper (Business Man) - go to defend the world from the criminal threat. They split into groups: Nat and Alex take their guitar-shaped space craft and get to the criminal genius’ headquarters (a Matt-shaped orbiting space station); Thomas, David and Qaasim, together with Jesse, try to save Nat and Alex’s father (Michael Wolff, who was shot by the laser beam and became bald-headed) from the baldness treatment of a mad scientist, doctor I.M. Kraysee, M.S.
Nat and Alex are captivated by Matt’s robots, kept in chains and constrained to sign a discography contract to play Matt’s horrible music. On the other side, the baldness treatment on Michael does work, but at the same time it transforms him in a big dragon who begins to destroy everything. In order to calm him, the S6 build a big accordion and give it to the dragon. Nat and Alex menage to free themselves and destroy Matt’s robots, but Matt shoots the laser beam against the Earth. Before it reaches the Earth, Rosalina (Miss Conduct) deflects the beam with her shield to another planet. Since all the inhabitants of this planet become bald, they first attack Matt’s headquarters and then chase the criminal who was escaping on a billiard-ball-shaped shuttle.
The episode ends with the continuation of the concert in Bryant Park: The Naked Brothers Band performs the song “Body I Occupy” with an accordion-playing dragon (who has a full head of hair).
