Supernatural marks Ben E. King's transition to the main Atlantic Records label after time on subsidiary labels. The album is King's ninth album and eighth studio album. The single,"Supernatural Thing Part 1" brought him a return to chart success, reaching #1 on the R&B charts, his first time in fourteen years, and peaking at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1]
