Superheaven (formerly known as Daylight) is an American rock band from Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

History

As Daylight, the band formed early in 2008 and released their first extended play "Sinking" in 2009 via Get This Right Records.[1] They released their second extended play "Dispirit" in 2010 via Six Feet Under Records.[2] Their third extended play, The Difference In Good And Bad Dreams, was released in 2012 via Run For Cover Records.[3] Their debut album, titled Jar was released in 2013 via Run For Cover Records. It reached 184 on the Billboard 200. [4] The band was featured on Alternative Press's list of "39 up-and-coming bands you must check out before 2013 ends".[5] Following a legal dispute, the band changed their name to Superheaven in early 2014.[6] Later the same year, the band signed to SideOneDummy Records.[7]
