Super Invader is a 1979 shoot 'em up game,[1] written by M. Hata for the Apple II family of computers and published by California Pacific Computer Company.[2] Super Invader is an unofficial home computer version of the Space Invaders arcade game and was voted the most popular program of 1978-1980 in a Softalk readers poll.[3] By June 1982, the game had sold 20,000 copies, making it one of the best-selling PC video games at the time.[1]
