Sunder Ramaswamy
Sunder Ramaswamy is an international educator specialising in international economic development. He is the president of the Monterey Institute of International Studies, a graduate school of Middlebury College.[1] He is also an active leader in the impact investing community, serving on the board of advisors for Sanghata Global, an international development organization dedicated to poverty alleviation through market-based wealth creation.[2]
Dr. Ramaswamy received his Ph.D. in Economics from Purdue University in 1991, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and B.A. (Honors) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, India. His principal fields of specialization are Development Economics, International Economics, Issues in Applied Microeconomics and Quantitative Methods.
