Summon Night Craft Sword Monogatari: Hajimari no Ishi (サモンナイト クラフトソード物語 はじまりの石 Samon Naito Kurafutosōdo Monogatari Hajimari no Ishi) is an action role-playing game by Banpresto for the Game Boy Advance.

Characters

The player chooses to play as either Rifmonica or Ritchburn at the beginning of the game. The other character is not seen or heard through the game.

Summon Night Craft Sword Story: Hajimari no Ishi features four Guardian Beasts. One of them is acquired in the start of the game, and cannot be changed. The chosen beast will assist the player with magic and items during the battle, but unlike the past two Summon Night: Swordcraft Story games, it's possible to fight using your Guardian Beast. Also unlike the previous games, the Guardian Beast is never actually referred to as such. He or she is instead the main character's "partner," or simply "blacksmith's assistant"... but for the sake of consistency, they will continue to be referred to as Guardian Beasts throughout this article. Each one possesses a different Super Form, set of skills, forging specialties and dialogue.

Aside from the two main characters—i.e., whichever protagonist and Guardian Beast the player selects—there is a score of secondary and minor characters, several of whom the main character has a chance to speak with at the end of each game-day.
