The Sulu pygmy woodpecker (Picoides ramsayi), also known as the Sulu woodpecker, is a species of bird in the Picidae family. Formerly lumped with the Philippine woodpecker (P. maculatus), it seems to form a superspecies with this and the Sulawesi woodpecker (P. temminckii).
It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and arable land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
