Sulfolipids are a class of lipids which possess a sulfur-containing functional group. One of the most common constituents of sulfolipids is sulfoquinovose, which is acylated to form sulfoquinovosyl diacylglycerols. In plants, sulfolipids are important intermediates in the sulfur cycle.[1]
