Shahzada Sulaiman Shikoh (15 March 1635 – May 1662[1]) also known as Sulaiman Shukoh, was the eldest son of Mughal prince Dara Shikoh.

Life

14 April 1654, He married Anup Kanwar, daughter of Amar Singh of Nagaur, son of Raja Gaj Singh.

14 January 1661, He was imprisoned at Salimgarh Fort on the orders of his uncle Aurangzeb on 8 January 1661, and later transferred to the Gwalior Fort.

He was poisoned with pousta in confinement at Gwalior Fort, May 1662.

28 June 1672, His daughter Salima Banu Begum married Muhammad Akbar at Delhi.
