Suhaim bin Hamad Al Thani
Sheikh Suhaim bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Muhammed Al Thani was born in 1933 at Qatar.
Sheikh Suhaim is uncle to the current Emir.
Career
Sheikh Suhaim was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs for the State of Qatar from 1972 until his death on 21 August 1985.
He had a great deal of participation, particularly in Political, Humanitarian, Social and also Cultural activities.
His greatest worries were "Qatar Homeland and compatriot" which played a big role in sending Qatari and Arab youth from different countries to study abroad at his own expenses.
He was known for his generosity and munificence, and had supported charities morally and financially.
in August 1985 had had problem with his brother the ruler Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani in power matters, then he and his supporters make clashes in the north side of Qatar with Qatari forces and late been dead by gunshot.
