Suchorita is a Bangladeshi film actress.[1] She came into the film industry in 1969 as a child actor in the film Babul.[1] Her first appearance as the heroine was Sikriti (1972).[1] She was directed by Abdul Latif Bacchu in Jadur Bashi in 1977.[1]

Film career

Suchorita began in the film industry as a child artist. She appeared in the film Sikkriti, directed by Azizur Rahman, which was not a commercial success. In 1977, se worked with director Abdul Latif Bacchu on Jadur Bashi, her first role as the heroine. She has appeared in romantic films opposite Ilias Kanchan, Washim, and Uzzal. She was married for a short time to film actor Jashim. In 1981, she received the Bangladesh Film Journalist Association Award for best actress.[2]
