Stuart Stefan (born March 6, 1986)[1] is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing for the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
Stefan attended Castleton State College from 2007 to 2011 before beginning his professional career with the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL. For the 2013–14 SPHL season Stefan switched his position from forward to defenceman,[2] where he scored 43 points, with 18 goals and a plus-21 rating, to lead all SPHL defencemen in scoring.[3] His outstanding play was rewarded when he was selected the SPHL defenceman of the year and named to the 2013–14 SPHL First All-Star Team.[4]
