Strečno Castle

The Strečno Castle (Slovak: Strečniansky hrad) is a Gothic castle in northern Slovakia, 16 km east of Žilina. It was originally built in 1316, and substantially renovated in 1689. It is open to visitors from April to October.
A key attraction of the castle is the crypt where the miraculously preserved body of Zofia Bosniakova (Zsófia Bosnyák) was found.
