"Stop Whispering" is a single from English alternative rock band Radiohead, released as the band's fourth single in 1993. It is the fourth track of their first album, Pablo Honey (1993). It reached #23 on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart.
Background
The song was written as a tribute to the Pixies, a band that had an important influence over Radiohead at the time, hence the single CD art cover is similar to the Pixies' Surfer Rosa. "Stop Whispering" is also one of Radiohead's oldest songs; it was created when the band was still known as On A Friday, originally being on Dungeon Demo.
