Stillwater site

The Stillwater site is a combined 59 MW solar energy and geothermal power plant. Located 12 miles (19 km) NW of Fallon, Nevada, the site includes a 26MW solar facility that was added to the existing 33MW geothermal plant.

The site is the world's first combined solar/geothermal plant and constructed by Enel.[1] The total output from the plant was sold to NV Energy.[2][3][4]

The plant entered into operation in 2009.[5]

Solar plant

Covering 120 acres (49 ha), the plant has 81,000 solar panels.[5]
