Student life
Although the major thrust is on academic excellence, extra-curricular activities are given due emphasis. Sports, N.C.C. and cultural activities have a sobering effect on the minds of pupils. They ennoble and embolden the pupils and foster the spirit of camaraderie. Everyone participates in games and sports. School Youth festival is an occasion when the place becomes aflame with colour. Folk, art and culture forms are jolted out of stupor. The students belonging to five houses vie with one another for honors. Everyone gets saturated with the spirit of competition. The virtuoso display of art forms is a charming vignette of Indian culture and life style. Individual talents get acknowledged and encouraged in all these activities. Monthly quizzes, seminars, debates, exhibitions on philately, numismatics, environment, science etc. dot the academic year. Educational tours are organized invariably every year to give the children maximum exposure. In short, the school remains a beehive of activity round the year.
To nurture future leaders, the brightest ones are chosen as school prefects.
