Stevie Boi is an American fashion designer and founder of the luxury eyewear line SB Shades. He currently resides in Baltimore.[1] He designs and sells unisex eyewear and accessories on his website and in a few boutique stores.[2]

Career

Stevie Boi was born in Augusta, Georgia but raised overseas.[3] He grew up with parents who were in the Army and traveled a lot during his childhood.[4] He started designing in 2007 and quit his job with the military to start his business selling eyewear.[5] Boi's big break was landing his eye wear on the cover of Vogue Italia November issue shot by Steven Meisel's, plus an additional six page spread entitled "The A Train", featuring pieces from his collection "Coexist".[6] Time magazine conducted an interview with Boi. The interview brought great press coverage for Boi and his brand. He was voted number 1 on Time magazines "9 Dream Jobs That Actually Pay" list.[7]

In 2014 Stevie Boi created his collection entitled "X2SEA" inspired by his trip to St Thomas Virgin islands. The collection is very colorful and reminds him of the islands, including Colorful prints and bright elaborate gemstones. He recently showed the collection at Mercedes Benz fashion week during .[8]

The italian writer Alessandro Cotugno used these words to describe Stevie Boi: "Stevie is a fragrance with powerful olfactory notes, placed inside a sphere of rhodium floating on a stream of pure water. Stevie Boi is absolutus, unrestricted: he doesn’t consider or fears any kind of constraint, limit or gag. His inspiration is uncontaminated and at the same time complex and multifaceted."[9]

Stevie's latest collection is entitled "CR3AM" He is preparing to showcase the collection during Mercedes-Benz fashion week this February. He will also be filming his new Reality Show series entitled 'All Eyes On Stevie' that debut January 19 on DreamNation TV.[10]
