Steven Ogg is a Canadian actor.[1] He is best known for being the voice actor and motion capture artist for Trevor Philips in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.[2] He has also appeared in television series such as Better Call Saul, Law & Order, and Person of Interest.
Early life
Ogg was born in Calgary, Alberta.[3]
Career
Ogg began his acting career in an advertisement for the National Film Board of Canada, before working in various theater productions. Following this, he became more focused on pursuing a career in sports, but an injury prevented him from doing so. After moving to New York, he began acting in television shows such as Law & Order and Third Watch, in addition to some theater work and voice acting.
After Ogg took a break from acting so that he could build a house,[4] he was hired by Rockstar Games as the voice actor and motion capture artist for Trevor Philips in their 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V.[2] Following the release of the game, Ogg's character was critically acclaimed.[5][6][7][8]
