Steven Halko (born March 8, 1974 in Bolton, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman.
Playing career
He played college hockey And was the captain at the University of Michigan for the Michigan Wolverines. After turning professional, he played in the AHL for the Springfield Falcons, Beast of New Haven, Worcester IceCats, and Lowell Lock Monsters. His entire NHL career was spent with the Carolina Hurricanes.
With 155 career NHL games without a goal on 96 shots, Halko has the most games played of anybody who has not scored in their NHL career.[1]
Steven is currently a youth hockey coach in Raleigh, North Carolina.
