The ambition of Xinfu, is to create a better way to lead companies; to change the corporate world and by blending together the best of both the East and the West, and to create a new generation of truly global entrepreneurial companies that people love.

Richard Branson has written the foreword for the book.[1]

Early career

Tappin began his career with the chemical giant ICI working from the bottom to the top on a fast track management scheme. ICI’s fortunes turned around under the leadership of Sir John Harvey-Jones. After he left, Tappin was mentored by Sir John Harvey-Jones.[2] Some of the problems he encountered as part a large global company convinced him that there must be a better way to lead global companies and that the start point for that must be the CEO. Steve continues his quest to develop global best CEO and leadership practice which he has been doing for over 25 years.
