Steve Schottel is an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Schottel was the head college football coach for the Baker Wildcats located in Baldwin City, Kansas. He held that position for the 1995 season.[1] His coaching record at Baker was 3 wins and 6 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #17 at Baker in total wins and #18 at the school in winning percentage (.333).[2][3]

Schottel resigned the post after less than a year. Before taking the position at Baker, he was an assistant coach for the Benedictine Ravens, Missouri Tigers, Louisville, Michigan State, Colorado, William Jewell, and Missouri Western as well as several stops in the high school ranks.[4]
