Stephen Leacock, a highly rated public school,[1] is located in suburban Kanata in the Beaverbrook neighbourhood. The school also serves the neighbourhood of Kanata Lakes and Kanata estates. It accommodates students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. The school is named after Stephen Leacock.

Academics

Early French Immersion is: 100% French instruction at the grade 1 level; 80% French and 20% English at the grade 2 and 3 levels; 60% French and 40% English in grades 4, 5 & 6; and 50% French and 50% English in grade 7 and 8.[2]

Athletics

Athletes from the school have excelled at a variety of sports such as track and field, volleyball, basketball and badminton.
