Stemonoporus acuminatus is a species of plant in the Dipterocarpaceae family. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.
Leaves
lanceolate, cuneate base, tapering apex, lateral veins about 10-12 pairs, intercostals densely geniculate.
Trunk
often distorted.
Flowers
Inflorescence - axillary.
Fruits
globose, thick corky fibrous pericarp, short calyx lobes, no wings.
Ecology
montane and rain forest subcanopy; exposed hills, ridges.
