Stella Chung (Chinese: 钟晓玉; pinyin: Zhōng Xiǎoyù, born 9 July 1981) is a Malaysian actress and singer.
Career
Stella started her showbiz career after making her debut as the leading actress in one of RTM local chinese dramas. She then signed to Vertex Music and released her first music album and subsequently turned into one of the local most popular chinese female singer. She has also starred in a number of Singapore-Malaysia co-productions chinese drama.
Personal life
Chung was born in Sarawak and spent her schooling years in Sarikei. Her older brother, Nick (钟盛忠), is also a singer. She's married to Edmond Teh, who was her manager and producer that built her career from a newbie actress into a local popular singer. They separated in less than 6 months after their marriage. Her ex-husband is also a lawyer who owns a legal firm specialises in litigation and corporate exercise.
