Stefano Rosso is CEO of OTB Group (the holding company of Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf, Staff International and Brave Kid), President of Bassano Virtus 55 Soccer Team, Counselor of Red Circle Investments, and he is on the board of directors of H-Farm, Estrima, Fubles and EcorNaturaSì, and is the cofounder of the Red Room Party.

Biography

Stefano Rosso was born on June 1, 1979 in Marostica, Vicenza, in North East Italy and he is the son of Renzo Rosso, the founder of Diesel. After attending high school in Bassano del Grappa, he left Italy to pursue his studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where he completed a BA in International Trade and Marketing. He began his work experience outside the family company, collaborating with brands like Zoo York, part of Marc Ecko Enterprises.[1] He returned to Italy in 2005 to become first Diesel's 5 Pockets (denim) Brand Manager, and after Strategic Brand Alliances Director,[2] creating and managing some of the brand's most important global collaborations, from a limited edition jeans and sneakers collection with Adidas Originals,[3] to the worldwide partnership with Ducati.[4] In July 2011, Stefano Rosso moved from Diesel to became Director of Corporate Development of OTB Group, the holding company of Diesel, Maison Martin Margiela, Marni, Viktor & Rolf, Staff International (specialized in ready-to-wear production and distribution, managing license agreements with DSquared², Just Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood Red Label and Man, and Marc Jacobs Mens) and Brave Kid (childrenswear production and distribution for licenses brands Diesel, DSquared² and John Galliano). In February 2013, Stefano was appointed CEO of OTB Group[5] with the specific responsibility of designing the group's new corporate governance and guiding the People & Organization function, with the goal to build the managerial team of the future. He plays a key role in the design of the development strategy of the group, with a special focus on new acquisitions.[6]

Red Circle Investments

Red Circle Investments is the private investment company of the Rosso family. It was created in 2011 to acquire and administrate shares in Italian and foreign companies. RCI invests in new technologies, environment and sustainability related companies and start-ups. The last entries in the Red Circle Investments portfolio are Yoox (the world's leading online lifestyle store for fashion and design brands[7]), H-Farm (first digital start-up incubator in Italy), Depop (smartphone app to sell personal goods),[8] Fubles (most used social network to organize soccer matches), EcorNaturaSì (biggest organic products supplier and store chain in Italy).[9] As Counselor of RCI, Stefano Rosso is on the board of directors of H-Farm,[10] Fubles[11] and EcorNaturaSì.

Bassano Virtus

Bassano Virtus is an Italian professional football club, based in Bassano del Grappa, in the Veneto region, in northern Italy. Bassano Virtus 55 Soccer Team was founded in 1920[12] as U.S. Bassano (Unione Sportiva Bassano) and merged with cross-city rivals A.C. Virtus in 1968. In 1996 the club took its current name: the number 55 stands for 1955, owner Renzo Rosso's birthyear.[13] Nowadays, Bassano Virtus is also the only Italian professional football club to use soccer instead of football in its full name. In the 2005–06 season the club debuted in Serie C2, where it stayed until 2009 when it stepped up to Lega Pro Prima Divisione. Renzo Rosso became owner of the team in 1996 and Stefano Rosso is the president of the club[14] since 2009. On Sunday 6th April 2014, a 0-0 result against the Castiglione football club was enough to ensure the step up of Bassano Virtus to Lega Pro Prima Divisione again after two years in Serie C2.[15]
