Steele Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in Alaska, United States. It is part of the Fairbanks, Alaska Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 6,662 (15th place in list of cities and census-designated places of Alaska).
Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2010, there were 6,662 people, 2,525 households, and 1,806 families residing in the CDP. There were 2,743 housing units. The racial makeup of the CDP was 87.4% White, 0.8% Black or African American, 3.8% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 1.1% from other races, and 5.9% from two or more races. 3.2% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
