Stavanger/Sandnes

Stavanger/Sandnes is the third largest urban area of Norway, with a population of approximately 201,353 as of January 1, 2012.[1] It consists of the densely built-up areas Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola and Randaberg.

The area has had a big growth in population the later years, and is one of the fastest growing urban areas in Norway. It is expected that larger portions of Sola municipality will grow together with the urban area in the future.
