State Correctional Institution – Chester is a medium-security, all-male correctional facility in Chester, Pennsylvania.

History of SCI-Chester

SCI Chester opened in April 1998^[1] and was the first facility in the commonwealth dedicated to males with substance abuse issues. This institution was also the first in the commonwealth to become tobacco-free.
