Stadium Negara is a stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was the first indoor stadium in the country.[1] Construction began in 1960 and the stadium officially opened in 10 April 1962, by third Yang di-Pertuan Agong Almarhum Tuanku Syed Putra, of Perlis.[2] It is across the road from Stadium Merdeka.[3] Its main usages are holding indoor sports events and concerts.
