Stade Municipal Georges Lefèvre is a sports complex located in the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France, just across the street from the Camp des Loges, the training centre of Paris Saint-Germain. It has a seating capacity of 2,164 spectators provided by 3 stands.[1] The venue was renamed in 1945 after Georges Lefèvre, a player of the Stade Saint-Germain who died at the allies front in 1940 during World War II.[2] The artificial turf and grass football fields of the facility currently host training sessions and home matches for PSG's reserve sides.[2][3]
Stade Georges Lefèvre N°1 is the main football stadium of the complex with a seating capacity of 1,500 spectators.[4][5] Formerly it was the home of now-defunct Stade Saint-Germain from 1904 until its merger with fellow local club Paris FC to form Paris Saint-Germain Football Club (PSG) in 1970.[2] The new club "inherited" the Stade Georges Lefèvre N°1 as its home stadia.[2] However, PSG also played home matches at the Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir, the Stade Jean-Bouin and the Parc des Princes, until the club became the sole tenant of the latter stadium in 1974.[6][7][8]
