The Stade Bordeaux-Atlantique is a planned stadium in Bordeaux, France. Construction began in 2013 and should end in April 2015. The first match will be Bordeaux vs. Nantes on 29 May 2015, the last day of the French Championship. The stadium, with a capacity of 43,000 spectators,[2] will be the new home of FC Girondins de Bordeaux of Ligue 1. The stadium will also host the semi-finals of the 2014–15 Top 14 season in rugby union,[3] and is also set to host 5 matches in UEFA Euro 2016, including one quarter-final.[4] It will replace the club's current home, Stade Chaban-Delmas.
