St Rose's High School

St Rose's High School is a high school in West Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was founded by nuns (not Dominican) in 1963. The current uniform for this all-girls school is a navy jumper, blue shirt, navy skirt/pinafore, navy tights/navy knee socks and black shoes. St Rose's also have a P.E. uniform tracksuit. It has navy top and bottoms with red lining at the side and on the collar and also a matching jacket. The school motto is Veritas, meaning truth, showing St Rose's pride in their aim for proper catholic education. St Dominic's Grammar School's motto is also Veritas.

St. Rose's was named after St. Rose of Lima, and is located in Beechmount Avenue. The school often has fairs for holidays (e.g. Easter, Christmas, etc.). They also have a summer scheme, which usually requires an amount of money. St Rose's High School has recently changed the name to St Rose's Dominican College.
