St. Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, is one of the oldest schools in the city of Jaipur. Founded in 1945, it runs under the management of the Jesuit Society, an international Christian religious order called the Society of Jesus.
Head of Department of Physics Mr. Yogesh Bhatnagar, was felicitated with the prestigious CBSE National Award for Teachers (India) by Hon'ble minister of state for Ministry of Human Resource Development (India)Mr. Shashi Tharoor and Hon'ble Union minister for Ministry of Human Resource Development (India)Mr.M.Pallam Raju in 2013 for his notable and distinguished services of 35 years in the field of education.
History
St. Xavier's School is a co-educational school, which in its early days was open only for male students. It was founded in July 1941 under the name of St. Mary's Boys School in the Roman Catholic Church Compound at Ghat Gate, Jaipur by Rev. Fr. Ignatius, O. F. M. cap. In July 1943 its management was entrusted to the Jesuit Fathers, member of a religious order renowned for its education work. The school was transferred to the present site and renamed St. Xavier School in January, 1945. Since then the school has been administered by a team of Jesuits from the society of Jesus.
The campus
The campus is located in the heart of the city of Jaipur. There are three basketball courts, two tennis courts,two handball courts ,two swimming pools, two football fields, a shooting range, two badminton courts, two squash courts and two cricket fields in addition to indoor sports courts which includes a gym. There are five buildings: the Senior School building, the Middle School building, the Junior School building, the Science building and a sports complex. The school has two auditoriums for co-curricular activities.

Higher Education
For the purpose of higher college education, St Xavier's College, Jaipur was inaugurated by the society of Jesuits. The college however, do not give any special weight age to students of St Xavier's School in the admission process.
