Cristo Rey St Martin High School is a private, college prep, Roman Catholic high school in Waukegan, Illinois. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. The school is made affordable for students of limited options through each student's participation in the Hire4Ed (corporate internship) Program.[1] The Hire4Ed program is a program where students go to work once a week. They work for their high school tuition.

Background

St. Martin de Porres High School was established in 2004. It is part of the Cristo Rey Network of high schools, the original being Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago.[2]The Cristo Rey Network comprises 25 high schools that provide a quality, Catholic, college preparatory education to urban young people who live in communities with limited educational options.
