Saint Francis Township is one of fifteen townships in Effingham County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,213 and it contained 453 housing units.[1]

According to the 2010 census, the township (T8N R7E) has a total area of 32.36 square miles (83.8 km2), all land.[1]
