St. Augustine's College (Ghana)

St. Augustine's College is an all-boys senior secondary boarding school in Ghana. There are about 1400 students, aged between 12 and 19 years with 75 full-time and 12 part-time teachers.Most of the teachers are old students (APSUNIANS).

The school was founded in 1930 initially to train teachers,at Amisano but later converted to a secondary school in Cape Coast.

The school is currently one of the premier secondary schools, currently 3rd best in Ghana and has produced several leaders in the country. Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, current Minister of Public Sector Reform in Ghana and soccer star Michael Essien are past students of the school. Their girls/sister school is Holy Child School with St. Augustine's College's(AUGUSCO) main rival being Mfantsipim School(BOTWE).Augustinians wear green shirt with khaki shorts for juniors and khaki trousers for seniors as their school uniform. Boarding houses at the school include St. Peter's, Glynn, St. Patrick's, St. Stephen's, St. Theresa's, Luke's, George's, John's, Joseph's and Father Kelly's houses also known as Hotel D'Brako.
