St. Anne's Church and Mission Site is a historic site on Indian Island off ME 43 in Old Town, Maine.
History
Founded in 1688 by Father Louis-Pierre Thury, Saint Anne’s, Indian Island is the oldest continuous site of Catholic worship in New England. The present church building is the third oldest Catholic Church in Maine. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.[2]
