Spotlight 29 Casino is an Indian casino near Coachella, California, owned and operated by the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians of California. The casino has 250,000 square feet (23,000 m2) of gaming space, with 2,000 slot machines, 30 table games, and a poker room with 9 tables.[2] Amenities include four restaurants, three bars, and a 2,200-seat showroom.
History
On January 14, 1995, the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians opened the Spotlight 29. In April 2002, the casino changed management to Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, and was renamed Trump 29. In February 2005, the management contract ended and the casino's name reverted to Spotlight 29.
In March 2007, the tribe broke ground on a casino expansion. The expansion opened in July 2009, along with a new parking garage.
