Spokane Valley High School (also known as SVHS) is a school of choice in Spokane, Washington. SVHS is part of the West Valley School District. It has won theWashington Achievement Award[2] and Washington Designated Innovative Schools Award.[3] In addition to all-day programs the school also offers Transition and G.E.D. programs that help students with difficult circumstances to continue their education.
History
Spokane Valley High School was featured couple of times on PBS. It was featured once in 2010 [4] and in 2013 on the Frontline episode "Education Under Arrest" hosted by Tavis Smiley. [5]
