Spinach salad is a salad which has spinach as its foremost ingredient.
Common ingredients include slivered almonds, and some type of berries, like cranberry or strawberry.
Spinach salad is usually served with a sweet vinaigrette-type dressing. Along with oil and vinegar, this usually contains sugar and paprika, plus minced onion and poppy and sesame seed. Other possible additions are Worcestershire sauce and ketchup.
Sometimes used are bacon and eggs.
