Spec Ops II: Green Berets is a tactical shooter video game. It was developed by Zombie Studios and was published by Ripcord Games. The game launched exclusively on the Microsoft Windows platform in 1999. It is the second game in the long-running Spec Ops series. A remake, Spec Ops II: Omega Squad, was released in 2000 for Sega Dreamcast. An expansion pack, Spec Ops II: Operation Bravo was released online the following year. In that same year A bundle called Spec Ops: Platinum Collection containing Spec Ops: Rangers Lead the Way, Spec Ops: Ranger Team Bravo, Spec Ops II: Green Berets, Spec Ops II: Operation Bravo and a strategy guide was released.

Story

Spec Ops II has five campaigns (Antarctica, North Korea, Pakistan, Thailand, Germany) with a total of 26 missions which can be completed in any order chosen. The expansion pack adds five new campaigns (Alpine, Desert, Jungle, Mountains, and Urban) with 25 new missions, making 55 missions total. The player confronts, among others, soldiers of Army of Argentina, Korean People's Army, Army of Pakistan and various insurgent groups.
