SpaceIL

SpaceIL is an Israeli nonprofit organization competing in the Google Lunar X Prize to land a spacecraft on the moon in 2015.[1] SpaceIL aims to launch the smallest and lightest vehicle to ever land on the moon.[2] Its total budget is estimated at 36 million dollars, provided mainly by philanthropists (including 16.4 million dollars from Sheldon Adelson).[3]
