Southwood Junior-Senior High School

Southwood Junior-Senior High School is a junior/senior high school in Wabash, Indiana with more than 600 students in grades 7-12.[1]

The nickname of the students and the athletic teams is "Southwood Knights".[2]

Southwood beat South Putnam 17-14 to win the class A state championship in football in 2002.[3]

The Southwood Knights were the class 2A (sectional 39) Indiana sectional champions in 2010. In the regional tournament opening round, they went on to play the Bishop Luers Knights team, two-time defending state champions and led by the famed Deshaun Thomas. Southwood came away with a huge upset winning 70-68.
