Southside, Independence County, Arkansas

Southside is a City of the Second Class located in Independence County, Arkansas, United States. Southside was incorporated on October 29, 2014. A lawsuit was filed to annul the incorporation of Southside but was dismissed voluntarily on February 27, 2015. Upon dismissal, Southside became a City of the Second Class entitled to judicial notice in the State of Arkansas. A first election of city officers is currently being planned in accordance with state law. ^[1]
