Southend Stadium was a former greyhound racing track in Grainger Road, Southend, Essex.[1] It was also the home ground of Southend United between 1934 and 1955.

The stadium opened for racing in September 1931 which provided Southend with a permanent track following an unsuccessful attempt by promoters in 1927 on the Kursaal, Southend on Sea. In 1948 Rayleigh in Southend provided the sport with a second Southend track but it was overshadowed by its bigger neighbour. Southend was the first greyhound track to film in colour television pictures and hosted a major competition called the Thames Silver Salver and remained a popular track until its closure on Boxing Day 1985. The site is now a retail park.
