Southedge Dam, also known as Quaids Dam, is located on the Mitchell River in Queensland, Australia. At full supply level the storage has a capacity of 129000ML and covers an area of 3,290 ha (8,100 acres).^[1] Southedge Dam has remained unused since its construction in 1986.^[2] It was constructed and owned by Southedge Daintree Pastoral Company.^[3]^[4]
