Southedge Dam, also known as Quaids Dam, is located on the Mitchell River in Queensland, Australia. At full supply level the storage has a capacity of 129000ML and covers an area of 3,290 ha (8,100 acres).[1] Southedge Dam has remained unused since its construction in 1986.[2] It was constructed and owned by Southedge Daintree Pastoral Company.[3][4]
