South West Institute of Technology is a State Training Provider providing a range of vocational education located in south west regional Western Australia. Established in 1946, the Institute now has campuses in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Manjimup, Collie and Harvey. Historically it was also known by the names of Bunbury Technical School and South West Regional College of TAFE. As of 2010, the official name is the South West Institute of Technology (SWIT).

Campuses and facilities

The institute currently trains around 6,000 students each year and operates at six campuses in the south west of Western Australia:

A new state of the art Automotive Centre [1] opened in 2013 offers courses in heavy auto, light auto and auto electrical training. The Institute operates the Epicure Training Restaurant which is a training facility for hospitality and commercial cookery students. The South West's Centre of Excellence for wine making is located on the Margaret River campus providing training needs to the renowned Margaret River Wine Region.
