South West 1 East is a regional Rugby Union league in south west England. It is the second highest regional league in the area and promoted sides usually enter R.F.U.'s National League 3 South West with the league champions being promoted automatically while the league runner up plays a playoff against the runner up from South West 1 West. Relegated teams tend to drop to either Southern Counties North or Southern Counties South depending on geographical position.
