South Gyle railway station is a railway station serving South Gyle in the City of Edinburgh, Scotland. It is located on the Fife Circle Line, 4 1⁄2 miles (7.2 km) west of Edinburgh Waverley. It has two platforms. There is a ticket machine and a shelter on each platform.
Edinburgh Park station is also on the edge of South Gyle, which serves the North Clyde Line and the Edinburgh-Dunblane Line.
A new interchange is planned north-west of here at Edinburgh Gateway station.
Services
Monday to Saturday daytimes, four trains per hour go to Edinburgh Waverley eastbound. During the evening peak, two services an hour are extended to Brunstane and Newcraighall. Four trains per hour head towards Inverkeithing and the Fife Circle.
Evenings and Sundays, two trains per hour go to Edinburgh Waverley and two along the Fife Circle, one via Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.
